with Oberweis Swiss Cheese and Canadian Ham

Elevate your ham and Swiss when you add fall flavors for a seasonal twist.

Ingredients list:
  • 4 slices Natural Ovens Whole Grain Bread
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • Kosher salt and black pepper
  • 8 slices of Oberweis Swiss Cheese
  • 4-8 slices Oberweis Canadian Ham
  • 2 Honeycrisp or braeburn apples, cored and thinly sliced
  • Bee Raw Wild Main Raspberry Honey, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme

  1. Heat broiler to high with rack set to upper middle position.
  2. Brush both sides of bread with oil and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Arrange on a baking sheet and broil until lightly toasted on both sides, 1–2 minutes each side.
  4. Transfer bread to a cutting board and arrange the desired amount of ham on a baking sheet, broil until starting to brown, 2 minutes each side. Transfer to a plate.
  5. Divide Swiss cheese among bread slices, top with 1-2 pieces of ham and apple slices.
  6. Broil for 3–4 minutes or until the cheese has started to melt.
  7. Remove from the oven, drizzle with honey, sprinkle with thyme and season with salt and pepper.
  8. Serve with additional honey and thyme.
