A delicious, low-carb and Keto-friendly side, this fresh and crispy asparagus is wrapped in bacon and baked to perfection.

Ingredients list:
  • 24 stalks Asparagus trimmed
  • 12 slices Oberweis Thick Sliced Bacon, cut lengthwise to make narrow strips
  • 1 tsp Olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp Garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Place an oven-safe wire rack onto a cookie sheet.
  3. Drizzle asparagus with olive oil. Sprinkle garlic salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Wrap each bacon strip tightly around an asparagus stalk, only slightly overlapping the bacon on each stalk.
  5. Place seam side down onto the wire rack.
  6. Bake for 10 minutes.
  7. Use tongs to turn over.
  8. Bake for 10-15 minutes more, until the bacon is almost crispy.
