Everything is peachy keen in the world when you’re eating our Grilled Skirt Steak with Peach Salsa. We soaked Allen Brothers Skirt Steaks in a marinade made of cumin seeds, jalapeños, garlic, pepper, salt, oil, cilantro, and Natalie’s Lime Juice for 24-48 hours, which may seem like a long time, but it is well worth the wait. Grill each steak on medium heat until it has a nice sear, then top with a healthy serving of our sweet peach salsa. Dinner is served!

Ingredients list:
  • Grilled Skirt Steak Ingredients:
  • ½ cup cumin seeds
  • 5 jalapeno peppers, seeds and ribs removed, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp cracked black pepper
  • 1/3 cup fresh lime juice
  • 1.5 tsp salt
  • 1.5 cup olive oil
  • 2 bunches cilantro (leaves and stems)
  • 4 8oz. Allen Brothers Skirt Steaks

  • Peach Salsa Ingredients:
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 12 grape tomatoes, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 Cup Seal the Seasons Sliced Peaches
  • 3 tbsp Bee Raw Honey
  • 1 tbsp Natalie’s Lemon Juice

  1. Grilled Skirt Steak:
  2. Toast the cumin seeds in a medium sauté pan over medium-low heat for 5 minutes, or until fragrant.
  3. In a blender, combine the cumin seeds, jalapenos, garlic, pepper, lime juice, and salt. Pulse the blender to finely chop ingredients. Add the oil and cilantro and puree until smooth.
  4. Lightly score both sides of the meat with a knife so that the marinade will penetrate. Place the meat in a large plastic bag or bowl, pour in the marinade, and coat well. Marinate in the refrigerator for 24 to 48 hours.
  5. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  6. Remove the meat from the marinade and discard the remaining marinade. Cook on high, 1 to 2 minutes per side, to sear the meat. Turn the heat down to low and cook for an additional 3 to 4 minutes per side, or until the it has reached the desired doneness.

  8. Peach Salsa:
  9. Heat oil in a pan over medium heat
  10. add onion and cook until soft, 1 to 3 minutes.
  11. Add tomatoes and garlic
  12. cook over medium-low heat about 5 minutes.
  13. Add peaches, honey, and lemon juice
  14. cook until combined, 2 to 3 minutes more.
