Smile because Ream’s Meat Market Cheddar Brats with Cheese Sauce are on the menu! They’re grilled Ream’s Cheddar Brats nestled between a pillowy soft S. Rosen's Brioche Hot Dog Bun. Then layer on our cheese sauce made with Oberweis milk, cheddar and cream cheese, plus a little hot sauce for a spicy kick. Sprinkle on a few bacon crumbles, chopped green onion, and then grab another because they’ll be gone before you can say cheese!

Ingredients list:
  • 1 package Ream’s Cheddar Brats
  • S. Rosen's Brioche Hot Dog Buns
  • 1 Green Onion
  • Oberweis Thick Sliced Bacon
  • ______________________
  • 1 stick Oberweis Unsalted Butter
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/4 cups Oberweis 2% Milk
  • 2 oz. Smithfield cream cheese
  • 2 cups freshly grated Oberweis sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1/3 cup Franks Red Hot Sauce
  • 1 tsp. seasoned salt
  • 1/2 tsp. pepper

  1. Prep Cheese Sauce: heat a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add the butter, and once it’s melted and bubbly add the flour. Whisk together to create a roux and cook for 1-2 minutes until mixture gets a bit golden in color. Add milk, stir and turn down heat to low. Continue stirring until milk thickens. Add in the cream cheese, cheddar cheese and continue to stir until mixture is smooth. Stir in hot sauce and seasoned salt and pepper. Taste and add more hot sauce if desired.
  2. Cook the bacon until crispy and crumble.
  3. On medium high heat, grill the brats.
  4. Serve the brats on a bun. Top with cheese sauce, green onion and bacon crumbles.
